I was born and raised in Southern California, Torrance to be exact. It's a very large city in the South Bay. My entire family is there along with my adorable little nephew who was born in September of 2010, just two weeks before our wedding. I love being a Tia! He brought so much joy to my life and it made me so much more excited to have one of my own!
I moved to Rochester, New York in 2004. It was a very hard move for me because of how close I am to my family. My parents are everything to me and my sister is my best friend in the whole world. I adjusted quickly to life in New York. I 've made lots of friends and I love my job. Our winters are still taking some getting used to, but I'm making it through. I don't think anyone really gets used to how cold it gets here. I'm not going to lie; sometimes while I'm scraping the ice off my car I wonder what the hell I was thinking moving away from sunny California. I guess in the end: love conquers all.
